You can always find coupons in your Sunday paper for products that you and your family will use on a regular basis. These coupons are the ones that you will see used the most at the register in stores all around the country. Some companies release coupons more often than others and some not at all. How do you get your hands on the coupons from companies that just don't put them out?
The answer is simple. Use the power of your computer keyboard. Go to that particular company's website. Sometimes you will be surprised to see a link on the homepage that refers to coupons or promotions. You may have to sign up to access that portion of the website but by all means, do it. Worst case scenario you will receive more email than you would normally like but that's the reason you sign up with an email address that you have created specifically for signing up on websites.
At some companies sites you will be able to immediately print your desired coupons off right there on your printer. Others will drop them directly in the mail and you will usually receive them in 4 to 6 weeks. I have been amazed at how many coupons I have been able to acquire by simply going to the company website and looking around for a moment.
If the company does not have an online coupon available or a place for you to request them in the mail then use the power of your email. I have found that if you send a polite email to them they will respond. My emails consist of telling them how much my family loves their product and we will continue to purchase it even without a coupon but that the coupon would really be helpful to us. I make sure that my address is included somewhere in the contact form or email so they can easily send the coupons off to me. So far, every company that I have contacted this way has responded with great coupons! This is an excellent way to receive the coupons that you just don't see very often.
Couponing is becoming the most common way for a family to save money on many different things, not just groceries. With a bit of creative thinking and time you can save your hard earned money on just about anything that you want.
